When I was a kid there was a bus conductor on the 36 bus from Victora to Lewisham in south london who used to do a stand up comedy routine for the captive passengers between the longer  stops.

Nightmare. In my experience the people who think they're funny virtually never are. The funniest people you'll ever meet tend to be miserable bastards 99.9% of the rest of the time.

Agree. We have a distant family member who is a professional comedian. Had a channel 4 series years ago. In person, he is not at all funny. It was mostly scripted by his much funnier writing partner who fucked off and that was that.

Peter Kay is an infamously horrible, miserable bastard according to anyone who's worked closely with him.

That would surprise me, do you know that to be true?

I’ve heard he is a bit of a diva. Not much liked by the crew on the Chase. There was an Ant and Dec ‘gotcha’ type thing with him as the victim a couple of years ago and you did get glimpses of him as a different much more unpleasant person.

He's a strange one Walsh, he seems to do everything but none of it especially well except for the old geezer shtick. Mediocre actor and comedian and appalling singer.

I don’t mind him on The Chase.

Kirsty Allsopp, when she’s not being a cunt on the screen she’s being an even bigger cunt off it.

Richard Madeley

Erik Ten Haag

Ellen DeGeneres

Piers Morgan

I’m just listing cunts here aren’t I

That day was one of the highlights of the year for me.

Yep and on the subject of the cozy boys club Westminster journalists they all enjoyed a lovely little shindig last night at our expense.

You'd hope people like Hoyle and these journos would acknowledge their part in granting an easy path to  allow inadequates like Truss to rise right to the top of British politics and almost bankrupting the country.

I wondered why Ed Balls was trending on twitter, he's on breakfast tv telling the nation he knows Nadhim Zahawi personally and Zahawi is 'a nice fella'.

In his resignation letter to Boris Johnson Zahawi bizarrely brought up Jeremy Corbyn, saying the country will forever be thankful to Johnson for keeping an anti semite out of Downing Street.

Here's 'nice fella" Zahawi doubling down on his ludicrous claim on the BBC that Corbyn would have rich people rounded up and shot if he became PM.
