Bad and no confidence in his technique...so he let it run until he was in the best position possible to kick it, totally concentrating on that and nothing else - like for example stopping it before it ran out and then kicking it. That would require two touches though and he is clearly shot to fuck in terms of confidence in his own ability to do that, fuck knows what would have happened if he was under pressure with that kick.

 

It's like watching a keeper back in the days when the back pass rule had just been implemented and it was all new to them.
