Gary Mac joined in summer of 2000 and was fantastic in the treble season, after that Id add the return of Fowler, that must have been 2007.

If Cole just wants football then he should be on a pay as you play scheme, he is a millionaire, does he need another pay day?

side point, is Cole still first choice LB for England, even though he hardly plays club football?

Those guys all had some foreseeable upside, all great shouts, even Bellers and his anger management/golf club related issues.

Kolo has been awesome for us this season as well, minus and ill-advised square ball that hopefully won't bite us come the final points tally this year.

Maybe A. Cole could become some kind of LFC cult legend, I just don't see it, or want it.

I can't stand Cole.

But I do think he'd be a shrewd signing, assuming we only gave him a 1 year deal.

We could give him about 70k a week and given there will be no transfer fee we could justify such wages as it will still be under £4 million.

He's a class left back and still very good.  He could offer competition for Enrique and Robinson could learn a lot from him.

I see some say he'd disrupt the dressing room,  I don't get that argument, he might be a cunt - but he seems very professional the way he works day to day.

After Maureen bitching about Moses not getting enough playing time, i didn't think he wanted to do business with us again.

Don't want his cast-offs, not good enough for chelsea and therefore nowhere near good enough for us.

Didn't mind getting Sturridge off them when Rafa was in charge, but getting a player off Maureen serves his intentions better than it suits us.

He wouldn't be Cole is out of contract at the end of the season.

Fuck him right off.  Don't need him.

Not so sure about that, if we're in the champions league and are serious about continuing good league form next season cole good be invaluable on a short term contract, the mans a prick but top quality left backs don't grow on trees, the alternative could be Allly Cissoko.
