Obviously I have had my eyes glued to “the big one”, Lichtenstein versus San Marino, which the blues reds edged 1-0 in a fascinating and tight game. In the end, class told, and Daniel Kaufman of Vaduz showed the skill that the multi championship winning club side demand in scoring the winner in the 28th minute . Scoring in front of his own fans at the Rheinpark Stadion which the national side share with Vaduz must have been a special moment for him. His debut goal makes him the equal eleventh highest goal scorer of all time for the national side. Coach Rene Pauritsch will be delighted that the win doubles the number of wins he has had taking his win ratio from 5 to 10%. It took me back to when we played Olympiakos of Greece there in a pre-season friendly in 2005.

We've been linked with immobile and contrary to him name he's been quite busy in the last 5 mins I've been watching

I've always wanted us to sign him just for the song.

"Il Ciro Immobile" to the obvious "La donna e mobile" tune would be absolute genius.  I have no idea what we'd do for the rest of the lyrics but that bit alone would seal it as one of the great football songs of all time.

A game between two poor teams last night.

Any team containing Jagielka, Jones, Kane, Bertrand, Townsend, Gibbs, Smalling, Delph, Walker and Mason deserves to be obliterated by any half-decent team.

The fact that Italy forced a draw is a damning indictment of their national team.
