He found his level at Sunderland.

We got him from Roma after a great season in which he scored a goal ever other 90 minutes and played his way into the world cup squad. His level mightn't be title challenger but it isn't Sunderland either

When Balotelli got into the box he was a threat. His control and shot led to the goal, and in the 2nd half he created a chance out of nothing that the keeper made a decent enough save from. He was one of, if not our main threat. Borini simply never posed a threat, and offered almost fuck all. All about opinions, but I just don't think he's good enough.

Obviously he's not fucking good enough. He's replaced Suarez/Sturridge in the team. He doesn't deserve the criticism for today's result though because he put in more of a shift than most of our players and had a couple of shots that were close and should've won us a penalty.

Nobody is saying he's a long term solution but why not point the finger at Henderson who was wank yet again or Gerrard who doesn't deserve his place in the side at the moment?

Yes he did well to bring the ball down and smack it straight into a defender. When we were on top in the second half what did he do?

not a lot, but i'll take a player who does not do a lot and scores goals over a player who makes pretty runs and works hard for the team but ultimately does not do the job he is being paid to do.

I agree other players warrant criticism, but I just disagreed with you that he was far more dangerous than Balotelli.

Nope I agree with the market, Sunderland is about his level.

Scored 7 in 32 appearences for Sunderland

Four from open play in the league.  Yet I keep reading he done well at Sunderland?  Now I know they've Alditore there so I can appreciate why Sunderland fans would love a four goal a season striker but I'm not sure why Liverpool fans keep repeating this myth about him doing well last season.

Why don't match winning pens count? Are you willing to send European cups back?
