Look at City's squad city's bench and their wages are only 57 percent! bullshit. If ever a company needed a fine tooth comb going over its finances and all its employees its City. How much does Pep get as a consultant across all the city groups interests. Klopp said the figures with Haaland were ridiculous yet somehow city pay a relatively modest wage and paying the agent and Haalands dad a  wedge doesn't get added to his fee by the media yet with Nunez every penny he could potentially cost is added every headline. All the sports Journos should hang their heads if it weren't for the fact they'd probably get sued by the sport killers.

In the current climate this will undoubtedly be used as a stick to beat FSG with, and there is grounds for some of that, however, the stability of the club and its standing in that table should not be overlooked as well, which is a major positive.

We earn more, so we should spend more, though being financially secure to where we have come from, is a great piece of work. Now go out and buy my a midfield please, mister.

I bet City's statements are accurate. It's the shell companies that will be bollocks.

Has there ever been a breakdown of the wages shown?

Most of those stats websites have player wages coming in around 150-180 million per year.

Seems a bit mad to have another 200 million in wages on top of that.

Pretty much the same as some website I saw the other day. Playing staff wages including loanees equates to £132m and Klopp earns £15m a year. So £147m and the backroom staff.  That gets reduced to around £85m if all the out of contract players sent renew and the out of favour players move on.

Most stewarding and catering jobs are minimum wage or just above it.

The breakdown of staff numbers is in the accounts including temporary/matchday staff even if there isn't a breakdown of staff costs.

Man City pay a lot of scouts, coaches and other staff, that we pay through our accounts, as a shared resource through the City Group so they don't show up as wage costs in the accounts but as consultancy fee's

Those wage websites are guess work cobbled together from aggregated news reports and tend to only include the 'main' 25 man squads.

…that 100 yard walk will send quite the message.

This seems a bit Manc.
FSG are already looking to sell so what are they protesting about? The fact we are shite?

It's going to be one of those shitty 'demonstrations' where three fellas and a couple of bewildered kids are standing around getting cold thinking they're actually doing something.

Not sure 9,000 followers on twitter translates to 9,000 match going fans ready to take up arms in support (especially when the earliest tweet had 6,000 views and 83 likes.

[EDIT: Sorry there was an earlier tweet with 389, gonna be raucous].

Anyone who thinks a demo from the Albert to the kop is anything but a piss take is fucking mental.

I think they managed to fuck up the first part of the organisation and got the wrong starting location, it's since been amended (although I'm guessing their cardio isn't great as it still isn't the longest walk).
