No doubt we'll hear after the game about how the players are "trying their best" and just a "wee bit unlucky infront of goal"

 

Kenny needs to change tack and get rid of some players, bringing in superior replacements or he's definitely gone in the summer. No one wants it to come to that, but at the same time no one outside of a 19th century asylum thinks that it's acceptable to spend £100m and end up not paying the consequences if it fails miserably.

 

He needs to sharpen up tactically, too. Stoke was bizarre and a Gerrard - Adam partnership in the middle?! That's not even a rookie level error.
