The thing is, we've had this over and over again, and it could well cost Kenny his job. Fail to win today and we're five points behind Chelsea - If they kick on and we stutter, finishing ten, fifteen points behind, I don't think anyone could complain if the owners deem it necessary to bring a new boss in come the end of the season.

 

A domestic trinket isn't going to mask the fact that this is an expensively assembled team designed to at least come close to the top four - Failing to even put in a challenge probably wasn't considered a possibility.
