never done a bungee but have done a tandem parachute jump, think it was 14000ft,

was near morecombe somewhere.

absolutley brilliant, diving through the clouds, it hurts a bit on the groin area when the shoot deploys, and its so quiet as your floating down

give that a go :)

Done both.

Both excellent. Mind you the bungee i did was the mahoosive fucker in New Zealand, The Nevis, its from a suspended platform above a river. Forget all this 100ft lark that most bungee jumps are - this bastard is 450ft and has a 8 second freefall before the cord yanks you. Its the only bungee i've ever done, and i would recommend it to anyone - i can't imagine a bigger adrenaline rush exists. But the problem, as previously stated, is its in New Zealand and i doubt a charity event would cover those costs. So in that case the parachute jump should be the only consideration, the feeling is amazing and i can't quite understand anyone who wouldn't want to do it. Best thing you can do with you clothes on IMO

Do the parachute jump. One word of advice though, make sure your bollocks are well and truly clear of the harness straps around your thighs.

I speak of experience.

I endorse this piece of excellent advice. At 15,000ft you normally have a free fall of 60 seconds, and the parachute jump can total around 10 minutes. This means you could have very squashed gonads for a large part of the 'experience' - and believe me when i say it won't be remembered for the right reasons.

Brings tears back to the eyes just thinking about it.

*wince*
