    I am still of the opinion if a player wants to leave that much then get what you can, outside the prem if they are still playing well and hope the door hits them on the arse on the way out. I would prefer him to stay and to want to stay but it doesn't look good.

    Carroll for me. £35M worth of fuck all. Even his loan spell was blighted by injury so very pleased to get more than a packet of peanuts for him in the end.

    He keeps saying he wants to leave so sell him but not to another prem team as part of his "problem" is the English media. I've never had time for a player that has said they want to leave and now he has said it on several occasions it's time to take the money and use it to get another world class striker.

    Brilliant sequence. Some great footwork in there to fool defenders and I liked the fact he was drawing 3, 4 or 5 defenders to him and STILL keeping the ball to get the pass away. He's fast becoming great but he might become fantastic for us in time.

    I think we will be far better off next season than we are this season and I hope we put in a challenge for the title. Whatever happens I think it's going to be a great year of football as we have shown what we can do when our top goal scorer is not available and Sturridge has surprised many with his achievements for us already.

    Fucktopus! Fucking brilliant, so brilliant I've added it to my dictionary! I also agree with a lot of what you say. Fergie was on the brink of being sacked, 22 years later and he's won half of the top flight seasons since then, broken records, reinvented the team and kept them winning. I may hate him but you have to look in awe at his record. JM is a quick fix manager with no longevity what so ever, he's a money hunter. He takes over, wins some trophies and fucks off before it turns sour. I see Rodgers being more from the Fergie ilk than Mourinhos which is good for us in the long run if we give him time. The standard of our play is far better than it has been for a long time, he's made some great signings already and I hope he carries that on in the summer with some more. Only time will tell but the signs are good so far and if you want instant success then go support someone else.

    I'm just wondering if it's a message to RA. "If you want me you'll need to supply me with 2 chavski players a week to feast on as I now have a taste for chav blood!" Fuck the media and the rest of the pricks out there. He may do mad things, and be a bit off his head at times but he's our nutter and I want him to stay.

    First album bought - Thriller, Micheal Jackson Best album bought - Ride the lightning, Metallica Most Surprising - All hope is gone, Slipknot. Most of it is exactly as I expected but there are a couple of songs that are amazing. Last Album - All hope is gone. Slipknot. Only because I download most of my music but I do buy a CD if I really like it and want the artwork etc.

    My wife has relatives living over in Boston, fortunately they decided to go to a bar and watch it on a big screen or they would have been somewhere near the finish line as they normally are. Makes your blood run cold.
