I think ex-Palace gobshites Bright and Salako should throws their names in the hat for the manager's job there.

Another ex-Palace man in Tony Popovic has been mentioned a bit here (understandably, he's an Aussie). Would they go for him though or just keep spinning the merry-go-round of tried British managers?

 

What Western Sydney have done under Popovic in their 3 years of existence is not far short of incredible. Finishing 2nd in the local league in their first two seasons and then winning the Asian Champions League in their third is a brilliant effort. Admittedly, being in a salary capped league would make it easier to make an impact locally, although it'd also make it harder when going into Asia against some of the big-spending teams there.

 

I guess being an ex-player and having a fellow Aussie as captain will work in his favour, not to mention his rather impressive recent exploits. Be an interesting one.

Odd that he gets the sack. Halfway through the season and only ten points less than us.

 

Being a small club who didnt spend 120m on total utter shite I think that actually the man has outperformed Rodgers pound for pound.
