We need at least 3 new strikers as we have only 1 at the club (Torres) and a young lad that is being asked to much of for where he is at in his career (NGog)

We need strikers that are able to put presure on Torres for his place that would allow the manager to start with two top strikers and have a different option to come off the bench

When we have that type of strength in the squad it will mean that no matter who is the manager the team on the pitch will be able to win matches its no use for us going out and spending on top class wingers when there is no one in the box to score from the crosses

We have Pepe Carra Gerrard Torres then we have a second group of players like Kuyt Cole Meriales (spelling) Agger Skertel Johnson Lucus Aurelio and a group that are not good enough to be at a club like Liverpool Konchelskis (spelling) Kiriakos Poulson

add to that we only have 2 fullbacks at the club and we need at least 5 players bringing in and they have to be able to fit in the first group of players

London's boroughs are still split up into counties, although they're barely used these days. Newham = borough, Essex=county.

Not that I really care about scabby old essex or places in scabby old essex, West Ham transferred to the London Borough of Newham in 1965 and is now in the county of Greater London.

Mexican newspapers today claim that Liverpool are interested in taking Giovani Dos Santos from Tottenham on loan until the rest of the season. An article mentions that it's either Liverpool or Birmingham where the player goes although Genoa want him too. Birmingham want him after they failed to get Ryan Babel.
