I'm fucked off, I have a shit Tefal Avanti Hi-Speed toaster which as I said is shit, it browns the bread in record time....one side of the bread that is.

After literally hours on the internet I settled on a Russell Hobbs Classic 2-slice to replace it as every one of those motherfuckers that reviewed it said it produced perfect evenly browned toast....does it fuck, and neither does the replacement I got after I sent the first one back.

My question is this....

What toaster do you own and does it toast evenly on both sides of the bread?

(No putting it on 2 waiting for it to pop up and flipping it and doing the other side either)

We have seen a few of these gadgets that can print stuff on your daily slice of toast before at Geeky Gadgets, the latest one is the Zuse Toast Printer.

The Zuse Toast Printer uses an optical sensor, and it is inspired by the early dot matrix printers, and it will burn pictures into your toast in a 12 pixel by 12 pixel resolution.

What do you think?

Breville Stainless Steel 2 Slice Toaster VTT205: Amazon.co.uk: Kitchen & Home

no reviews on this one though.

That looks a bit flasher than mine but that's got to be a good thing i guess.

Breville has never let me down in both the toast and tea making department, plus i think they look pretty smooth too. I am a stickler for having evenly browned toast. I absolutely hate it when its still bread at the top. Sacrilege.

No offence but I think you're being a bit anal about this, fungus. "Evenly toast both sides of the bread" is something a girl would say. A toaster is a toaster is a toaster.

Yeah, why buy a toaster when you have a grill on the oven?

Or just hold your slice over a lighter?

It's driving me crazy, I'm actually thinking of pitching my business idea to Kenwood or somebody...It would knock their socks off, a toaster that toasts both sides of the bread at the same time!!!!

Seriously though how fucking hard can it be?

Bought a fuck off gourmet grill with toaster from Severin. Lasted us about 6 years so far. Lately though the rack which holds the toast is a bit loose and leans more to one side. This means it toasts one sode less than the other. Think i'll have a bash at fixing it tomorrow, if i can't i might just buy a similar model.

Ours is similar to this one but this is obviously the newest model.
