Pulp were a fucking fantastic band, and Jarvis Cocker's solo work is just as good. Their first two albums were a massive part of my teenage years.

I saw Pulp play Reading, they were immense, probably one of the greatest live performances i've ever seen.

 

I'd love them to reform.

For a while there, Pulp were fantastic. I saw them at The Leadmill in Sheffield just before they finally blew up big and sold some records. They played Babies (a genius song, in my view) and their home crowd went nuts. Here's Jarvis doing it acoustically himself:

I'm having to neg you here because I hate that when I type in Pulp Acoustic I get other people doing their songs and not Pulp themselves. It annoys the shit out of me.

 

For lovers of Jarvis I'd reccomend you take a listen to his collaboration with Air on a track called The Duelist; it's rather interesting but unfortunately I can't find it anywhere online to post it here.
