Did anyone notice their little arm lock handshake thing they were doing?

Can't really describe how it looked but they were both laughing their heads off when doing it. One of those inside joke sort of things.

 

They look like proper good mates, I love to see team bonding like that.

I hope Riera can put in more performances like that, but not every right back in make shift. He seems well liked in the dress room at least, bet his GIGIDY GIGIDY ALRIGHT goes down well too.

 

He is very popular with the other players, and supposedly a really good morale raiser, laughing, joking and singing weird old Spanish songs all the time that even the other Spaniards don't recognise.

 

Makes a change form the days of Carra's and Spud's fart-alongs.

Just from looking at him you can see Riera is a prankster and all-round fungi. He has a mischievous twinkle in his eye (if that doesn't sound TOO gay).

Did anyone notice at full time they were the last two off the filed as well? Kuyt was doing his usual lap of honour and Riera was walking round shaking his fists made up. Funny when Kuyt smashed the first in as well, watching the replay you can see Riera doing this air-kick just willing it to go in....great to see!

 

When Pepe set up the second and loads ran up to him it epitomised the team spirit in the side.

when dosser scored against utd, the camera went to the bench to show Gerrards reaction as he had just come off. But in the bottom corner you can see Riera and Torres look at each other as if to say 'That fucker scored?!' Or else they were gonna kiss! One or the other!

Haha i saw that too! It looks like albert is asking Torres if that was really the Doss who scored, and nando points over his head as to say 'yeah, and he lobbed him too!".

I agree. I was hoping it would be good and it was. Not great but still a lot better than most league games.

 

If our fans are good for every league game from now on, we'll more than likely win every one.
