Thing is, and let's be 100% honest here, that is one incredible record, freaky even. If this record belonged to Benitez you would (quite rightly) be lauding it as a testimony to his majesty. I'm not wrong am i?

It is a fantastic record King Emlyn.

I quite like Mourinho & wasn't calling him , I was smirking at his cheek.

( He would be the only acceptable replacement to me if Rafa went )

To be fair to Rafa though , we are unbeaten at home for over a year but it hasn't stopped the wood being piled up in the Main Stand car park has it ?

Class record.

I think it' stupid just talking about records in terms of league games. I thought it was stupid everyon saying the Mancs hadn't conceded a goal in loads of games even though Derby beat them 1-0.

A Manc fan in our place was even trying the old ' Kusczak was in goal so VDS is still going on with the record' FFS

To be honest, the commentator on Canal+ where I watch the game just said so.

He has only ever lost 1 home league game as a manager. His last and only defeat at home has been FC Porto-Beira Mar Aveiro 2-3 on 23-02-02.

So since Sept 20th 2000 till now, nearly 9 years he lost just 1 home league game.

Unbelievable that, he's a world class manager.

That's some record.

Did he not lose a home game with Benfica or Leiria?

Just seen Roma complaining about Balotelli diving to wina penalty. One of their directors said he's been well trained to dive by Mourinho.

Was it really bad?

No, infact I think it was a penalty.

He goes past the first player into the box, and then before he has time to take a step, he is pushed over by the second player, and it didn't look like he could of stayed on his feet.

The record says everything about how much a manager can influence a team's mentality, as there is no way it is Mourinho's tactical abilities that are the reason for the unbeaten run.

If we had that mentality this season, we could have walked the league.

Yes it was, it was outrageous. Ignore woo, he's talking through his arse because he loves Italian footy. He did that 'knock the ball past and leave your leg in to make it look like you've been tripped' thing. The defender never even challenged him and there was minimal (if any) contact.

It's probably on youtube by now anyway I'd imagine.

As he goes past the first player, the second player barges him over.

It was a pen.
