I've been lurking for 4 years, I think I have a good idea by now. (Not that admitting blueshitedness is part of TLWW, I admit!)

 

I think it's unfair that all new members get tarred with the same brush as Eskimo Boy, or Hyypiagirl.

As a relatively new poster and one of the under a thousand club, it can seem a bit cliquey and exclusive on here sometimes. In jokes and stuff can easily pass you by. Thats no ones fault its inevitable.

 

I think any messageboard like this needs new blood now and again.

 

Personally I couldn't give a monkeys if people think I'm a complete and utter arsehole or not - its only a messageboard and I really only come on to have a laugh and ocasionally talk about LFC.

i've always wondered if by the "good old days" people really mean "when we first did this everything was new and exciting to discuss topics with new people all over the world, now that it's been around for more than a year all we talk about is the same old shit".

I know when I registered, it was just after the final in Athens, and it took weeks and weeks to be activated. I know Dirk asked WillRobbo why it took so long, and he said it was because of the sheer number of registrations they'd had around the time of the final. So that is probably the reason behind all the newbs.

 

Most of the dickheads are seen off by 100 posts, and as for the rest, even if you don't like them you sort of enjoy suffering them, if you know what I mean?

 

That said, I don't mean this in a derogatory way, but there is definitely a cliquey atmosphere on here. I think it takes a confident person to break break down the barriers. Talking from personal experience, because I've lurked for so long, I do feel like I know everyone really well already, and I forget that you don't know me. Sometimes I think I might come across as bolshy or cheeky, when I'm not intending be.
