Shite performance all things considered.

We need three players if we have any ambition. Klopp talks about us needing CL qualification as a minimum, he is kidding himself if he thinks this squad gets that.

Two midfielders and a LCB ASAP.

Fuck that, a RB and play a bloody back 4 this shit isn't working at all

Everytime a teams under pressure they just put it into our right hand channel and they turn our whole team while Konate ends up trying to do the job of 2 men

Shit game.

We look amateurish in defence and thats on the manger.

He may not have Saudi money and super elite players but he's good enough for us to look like a professional side out of possesion.

Caught them off several times and defended most other things well enough. Jackson missed a sitter and Allison was needed twice. We're an attacking side. The midfield still the main issue.

And the fact we were fucked out of a penalty.

Tactically that was complete nonsense, but Klopp is not to blame whatsoever. We have almost no defensive players, he had to try to finagle something.

Chelsea on the other hand, they've just spent the year buying every good young player in the world and they already have 100m players in James and Colwill. Gee, wonder why they look pretty good.

Only villa and Luton gave up more big chances than us this weekend.

We were near the bottom of that league last year.

Far too easy to play against we are. Caicedo alone won't fix our mental fragility.

That was a woeful performance from us from salahs disallowed goal onwards.

A point we didnt really deserve, performance was quite poor.

We lack both defensive structure and mentality from a few of our players.

Alisson our man of the match, dont think many will argue with that. Apart from him Konate and Diaz played well, and Van Dijk and Szobizslai decent as well. Robertson, Gakpo, Trent and Salah our weakest players imo.

Edit: Also Elliott did well after coming on.

Not a bad result. I didnt see anything from Mo's disallowed goal onwards, so no idea about the performance.

Regardless, we need another Midfielder and CB, so hopefully we can get that over the line ASAP and go from there.

An alarming number of Klopp comments on the first day of the season.

Shambolic. its a good job Chelsea haven't got a decent striker they created bucketloads today, almost at will.

Klopp get your fucking finger out, get Henry and the staff together and go out and buy the players we fucking need.

Some shocking refereeing and VAR decisions.

Salah needs fining for his asinine antics as he came off - that's the last thing that's needed at the start of a season when he's supposed to be setting an example as a senior pro. Disgraceful.

People get obsessed with the idea of a DM as if it's like buying a hi-tech vaccum cleaner for the house. A DM doesn't do THAT much, no matter what hype you swallow. Better passing, all over the pitch, improves that performance.

At the end of all that I must say I've never hated watching football so much in my life. There's zero pleasure in the experience at all these days. Watching in the stadium is okay but on TV, christ, it's unbearable.
