Its no surprise that United look miles better since they changed their entire back four and ditched the likes of Pogba and Lingard and sidelined Ronaldo.

Saw an article earlier when their board agreed to double their transfer budget after the opening two defeats of the season.

Meanwhile we have virtually no midfielders fit and we are signing a player on loan that hasn't played at all in pre season!

I honestly think we face an uphill battle to get top four this season. United and Arsenal both have the luxury of being able to rest players over the next few weeks too in their piss easy Europa League groups.

Yeah, it will be a wonder how United get back to being good if they indeed get back to being good.

They are good and have improved hugely since last season. That is clear, you get players that want to play for the manager, hungry lads, fit and aggressive players. That’s a pretty good place to be. And we all know they’ll spend even more to keep pushing forward.

Top 4 will be a bloodbath. There really is zero certainty we'll end up in there.

Agreed. I think a lot of people haven't clicked on to how much Spurs and Arsenal have improved.

We like to think that they'll fuck it up eventually but that's exactly what other fans used to say about us before we signed VVD and Alison.

No, it's always in favour of the richest and most important teams economically to the overall "product". United get more decisions than anyone else, however we get far more than Southampton.

Outside of Man U we are probably the most important club in the league. Yet not sure I’ve ever read anyone suggest that we get most decisions our way generally, the match threads are a cesspool most of the time.

Don’t get the fuss over how they’re playing at all.  Sitting back and playing on the counter wins you duck all.

Theyre doing nothing that they didn’t under the Norwegian twat.

Arse have been far better and the goal should not have been ruled out.

I don't know how we lost to these vermin.

They finished second playing that way, it actually really suits them to play like that.

It was only when Ronaldo came in and fucked it all up that the wheels came off.

Arsenal, Spurs and United aren't much better than us, but they are better at the moment, no doubt. It depends how much we improve throughout the season.

They stumbled over Southampton, Leicester and sucker punched Arsenal after being outplayed for 30 mins on their own patch. But apparently they are back now. Kneejerk is the currency around here.

Who gives a fuck about second?  I hope they continue playing like a team that’ll never be anymore then a cup side.

Unfortunately we’re dumb enough to play right into their hands when we meet.
