This was legitimately one of my favourite Raw moments. Remember the injury and how long he was out.

The crowd pop was immense.

I was hoping he would slip to the third round.

Yeah I remember watching that, it was amazing.

Once Austin went I was hoping to team up Shawn and HHH

If you pick a tag team that went on and had successfull singles careers are we just judging them on their tag career?

Should be otherwise it will lead to tag teams of superstars who paired for a couple of months

Sting dominated WCW. I didn't watch much of it although I did go to WCW Halloween Havoc in Birmingham as a kid.

Look who was in the line up...

WCW @ Birmingham, England - NIA Arena - October 29, 1993 (6,500)
Johnny B. Badd defeated Brian Pillman
Ricky Steamboat defeated Maxx Payne
WCW TV Champion Lord Steven Regal defeated WCW US Champion Dustin Rhodes; only the TV title was at stake
WCW Tag Team Champions the Nasty Boys defeated Marcus Alexander Bagwell & 2 Cold Scorpio
WCW International World Champion Rick Rude pinned Ric Flair by using the ropes for leverage
Sting & Davey Boy Smith defeated WCW World Champion Vader & Steve Austin

Some boss wrestlers, including one of my all-time favourites, someone who I think was maybe a bit underrated in this country.

Disappointed Kurt Angle went so earlier, he’s was ace with his 3 I’s and stuff. Had a great run when he was up against HHH & The Rock etc.

Arguably the 2nd best technical wrestler after The Hitman.

2nd best? I don't remember Bret Hart winning the Olympics!

I was gutted that HHH was taken. I was close to picking a tag team but I just don't think tag teams are anywhere near as big a deal as the solo stars.

What's difficult is trying to decide whether to include hall of fame wrestlers that you never liked. Some have gone already and their career looks great on paper but I just didn't get their gimmick/character
