He isn't a lost cause, but he may come good for somebody else before he ever does for us. I am glad Klopp saw how nervy Mignolet was against Hoffenheim, but I wouldn't blame all of that on Mignolet as having Lovren in front of you must give you nightmares. We have been negligent in not getting an experienced keeper in as back up like other teams like Chelsea and Spurs have,I have Vorm or Begovic in a heartbeat as a stand in.

Vorm available apparently, Palace supposed to be in for him.

Karius is garbage mate.

If Mignolet has been dropped it all feels very last season. As much as people whinge about Mignolet he's not bad. The only thing he's done wrong this season is dropped that cross in the week which he then dived on. He hasn't been at fault for any goals, pulled off some important saves, he's punched and claimed when he's needed to and his kicking which improved a while a go has remained solid.

If he's just been dropped to give Karius a go I think he has the right to kick off if that's what's happened. I'm guessing that's the reason he's not in the squad at all. This isn't me writing Karius off either but we've seen how the nerves effected him last season. Banging him in against Arsenal is an accident waiting to happen.

With these two teams 6-3 or 3-5 are actually quite likely results. Normally I'd say a home win is more likely, but with TAA out the balance may change. Not to mention if Moreno starts at left back, which he hopefully doesn't.

Expect the following to be confirmed (again) today:

1. We can tear most teams apart, at least the ones who try to play.

2. We don't have a clue how to defend.

3. Our squad is too thin.

Very strange if right and as you say, the only thing he didnt do right against hoffenheim was that fumbled catch. Fuck me lloris makes far more mistakes than mignolet and lots of people here think he's a quality keeper.

Majorly surprised mignolet isnt in the squad if the reports are correct. He's either the subject of a transfer(!) or something major has kicked off. Wonder if he was late for the team breakfast?

I thought he was poor against Hoffenheim.  There was one very unorthodox gather early on in the match and a save where he nearly spilled the ball to an attacker.  Both seemed unnecessary, like a concentration issue. Whether that's enough to get him dropped or there's something else going on, who knows.

Another example debunking the theory that Klopp is a very loyal manager to his players.

Although in all honesty, I don't really care about that so much. I hope he's loyal to the good players and disloyal to the bad ones. Problem is I don't rate Karius at all. If he's to drop Mignolet then Ward should get a go.
