Well that's what I thought! Seems like he'll never play for us again, he was probably playing before Christmas to see if we could drum up some interest in him for January and when none came he's back to being "injured" probably till the end of the season or until we have nothing to play for and he'll be playing to be in the shop window.

Would there not be something in a contract where if a player literally is unable to play due to 'wear and tear' that he would be in breach of contract? If a player downs tools he certainly is, it doesn't make much sense to have a contract worth that much money and there is no way to terminate if both sides are not meeting the expectations.
