People on here don't seem to like facts, do they? I'm not calling Klopp a fraud or saying he isn't a good manager. I'm saying he has a problem managing finals, which is clear to see.

Still an improvement on the last manager who had problems managing 5th rounds.

Even Wenger's gone through spells of not winning finals. He has actually managed the losing finalists in all 3 European club competitions - Monaco in the Cup Winners' Cup in 1992, Arsenal in the UEFA Cup in 2000, and Arsenal again in the Champions League in 2006. He's never won a European trophy.

Liverpool have been fined 16,000 euros (£13,404) by Uefa following crowd disturbances during their Europa League final defeat by Sevilla in May.

The Reds were punished after fans displayed an illicit banner and used fireworks, as well as scuffling with Sevilla supporters.

Sevilla were fined 17,000 euros (£14,242) for crowd disturbances and the throwing of objects.

Liverpool were beaten 3-1 as Sevilla retained their title in Basel.

I'm hoping that Klopp has got a better eye for love-spuds than Rodgers ever had.  Possibly Sakho was the only player Rodgers signed with a fully-developed pair of knackers; I'm hoping this summer's intake are made of hairier stuff and can bring out the best in the rest of them.

City got 75m odd for getting to semi final, more than winners Madrid got.

We got about £1.5m more for our run and losing the final than seville who played in the CL, dropped into the EL and (obviously) won it.

It's a bit like the "illicit chanting" against the Mancs.  Unless they come out and tell us what we're being fined for, how are we supposed to know whether to stop it or repeat it even louder?
