Never a starter for me unless Coutinho, Origi or Mane are not available in the front 3 positions.

It's like he's sponsored by someone to give the ball away as many times he can in a game.

Had our only decent effort on goal yesterday. 11 or 12 goals in his first season plus how many assists. He's a quality player. I don't think he should play every game. Seems to enjoy the big games.

He was dreadful today, but compare his assists/goals with those of Lallana.

If anything, being English seems to excuse a lot of failings.

But also compare the workrate, tackling and ball retention.  If you measure their contribution solely by goals, then Lallana is never going to be compared favourably to Coutinho or Firmino.  When none of them are scoring, Lallana at least contributes to the team effort.  The other two do not.  They're wasteful.

That said, they were all shite yesterday.

Firminos workrate is superior to Lallanas in every way imaginable.

Cruff turns is about the only thing hes better at tbh.

You have lost it, mate.

When it comes to Lallana and Henderson, you've absolutely lost it.

Have you wiped all Lallana's misses out of your mind mate? He fucks up more easy chances than most.

Roberto Firmino has created the most chances (10) in the Premier League so far this season. #LFC

Fucking shit cunt

What is the definition of a 'chance' though? If it's the pass that results in the receiver taking a shot, its not saying much. Especially with Coutinho's shoot on site policy. The stats say we had 26 shots v Burnley, how many of them were actual goal scoring opportunities? 1?

Firmino's a good player. I like him. But he can go missing in games and does give the ball away a little too easily sometimes. Needs to go on the Origi 'diet' I think!

He goes missing in far too many games and he gives the ball away far too easily. Yet, you still like him. That just goes to show that if you're a silky Brazilian, you can get away with things others can't get away with. I don't dislike him, there maybe something there. But he needs to show a lot more. Without consistency, he's just another luxury we can do without.

He was our most productive player last season in terms of goals and assists in all competitions and he achieved that in his first season in England. He's also Klopp's preferred choice to play center forward and when he's played there we've scored 3 at Chelsea, 4 and 3 against Man City, 3 and 4 against Arsenal and 5 at Norwich.

Your last sentence is nonsense. All the evidence points towards Klopp thinking he's probably our most important attacking player.

its all well and good, naming games that weve scored a few goals in. Plenty of less talented players can point to games like that too, doesn't mean they're good enough. How many did he score v Burnley, how many did he score v the likes of Bournemouth, villa, Newcastle, Sunderland, palace, west Brom Etc etc. They're the games he doesn't just go missing in, they're the games we might as well not have him on the pitch as he contributes fuck all.

These aren't my stats and considering he may have played a lot of those games away and against better teams. But I think him as a striker is not his most productive. He does a shit lot of work off the ball but he is still learning the role very raw as a striker.

Be interesting to see if he plays as a 9 in the upcoming home games.

Attacking players give the ball away. They're allowed to do it because they're supposed to take chances to create. If he wasn't taking chances and had 100% pass completion he wouldn't score or create anything. He'd just be playing it safe.
