Absolutely, Hangeland is easily our best player right now, we have some up and coming players at U-21 level though and they qualified for the European Championship as one of only eight teams beating France in the qualifiers so the future might be bright.

Tettey is doing pretty well at Norwich as well at the moment.

Still think Skjelbred is the future Code?

I have seen Skjelbred play enough times both in the flesh and on TV to form a considered opinion about his qualities and how he would fit into our team.

This Norwegian bias thing is a bit strange as well, I would never suggest that we should sign anyone because he is Norwegian, as far as I know the only "unknown" Norwegian I have advocated signing was Hangeland because I could see his qualities and understood he would be perfect for the PL.

When i first mentioned him, nefore he went to Copenhagen, we could probably have got him for £1,5M, we could have signed him when Fulham signed him etc..

The same goes for Skjelbred, we can get him for around £4M now, maybe a bit less, but if he goes to another club abroad, his price will most likely triple itself within a year, if Skjelbred was an English player with equal qualities he would probably cost £15M +.

Skjelbred would be a superb signing.

I`ve also said Skjelbred will become a star player and he would be a good signing for us as I rate him much higher than Lucas, also a bit ove the top there I guess claiming I`ve said he will become the new Zidane.

I`ll happily get back to you on this and Skjelbred a few games after he has made his debut with the club who makes the wise decsion to sign him.

Thats how it goes when you have amateurs running the club.

Our scouting nework is a joke, we had no idea who Forren was until Everton sent a delegation of five people to watch him, including Moyes in late November.

He's only played 1 game since then, away to Stuttgart in the EL since the Norwegian League finished in November and thats where this wathing him in training comes from.

We are a joke.

So another example of journos and ITK swallowing the bate. The Liverpool-interest was always agent work to speed up the process.

To even think that a player that numerous clubs all over Europe would spend a week with keep-ups with our squad preparing for Norwich was a bit naive.

Forren has the potential to be a very good PL central defender. He's a late developer, but he has improved massively the latest seasons. He will be a regular for Southampton I think.

Don't know who this Veggard is but I would be astonished if we are trialling 24 year old internationals. Surely the scouts or BR if they were keen on him would have taken the time to watch the lad in an actual game.

Then again maybe he told Brendan he didn't want to be part of a beauty parade...

What do you think of the other highly rated CB - I think he is based in Norway - apologies but is name is Okare

I also remember the striker for Hannover you mentioned - I think he has been injured for a while?

Not sure who you are thinking about to be honest.
