In fairness we've been pretty good the whole game.

 

I don't think this scoreline reflects how good we've been.

 

We just don't have the attacking talent in the team to finish these games off when Suarez isn't on.

 

We were leading 1-0 then lost concentration and conceded 3 avoidable goals.

 

Obviously you can't keep clean sheets in every game but it does help when you sometimes close up shop and hold onto a lead instead of conceding ridiculous goals and losing the lead. Like we've already done numerous times this season. which is quite a worrying pattern.

Well I thought we were excellent first half and have been decent second half, I'll stick with pretty good overall. But then I'm comparing us to some of the poor performances we've served up over the previous 2 years in many games. Especially 2 years ago when we were last in this competition.

 

Borini just doesn't look like hes got it in him right now, but he has time on his side. I'm not convinced though. Like yourself, I hope I'm very wrong.
