Was watching the second half of the Sporting-Benfica match last night. The game was played in a downpour on a poor surface so while the game was often frenetic, there was little real quality about the play. Benfica won 1-0 but Bryan Ruiz of Sporting missed an absolute sitter - three yards out, dead centre and with an open goal, he skied it over the bar. Didn't know he played for them either.
