What the hell is 4d?

I am only just getting used to 3d tv and cinema's!

Basically 3D with special simulations, so if the scene is a car chase then your seat might vibrate as it goes over bumps, or if it's raining then jets of water in the cinema, or if the shot is in a chocolate factory then you'd have the smell of chocolate pumped in to the cinema..

I think that's it anyway!!

Something experiential.

ie a "live" experience, or in the case of cinema, something you can feel/ smell/ see/ hear beyond that which is on the screen.

The Spy Kids "4-D" is a aroma-based. Not sure what or how, and don't much care, but there you go.

The london eye now has a 4d experience that lasts about 5 minutes... and basically you stand in a room and watch a 3d movie.. with smoke billowing out around you as the clouds and water sprinkled on you as rain etc...

luckily there were no pidgeons in the film!!!

Its actually quite good... well my 7 year old daughter thought so...
