Today a big cloud has lifted over Anfield after the termination of Roy's contract, the subsequent appointment of The King has rightly given every Liverpool fan a huge lift, and a sense of excitement for the rest of the season, where before there was only trepidation.

My big wish for the next 6 months and beyond though relate to the atmosphere at Anfield, I think the fans have a huge part to play in what could be the most important 6 months of Liverpool's recent history. We know that since the introduction of all seater stadiums, the atmosphere at matches has deteriorated, but i also believe the number of vocal fans at Anfield has also diminished, wether that be through the numbers of local fans being priced out of it, or the number of fans who turn up expecting to be entertained and to witness the twelth man instead of participating as the twelth man themselves. I am sick of hearing opposition fans turn up at Anfield and mock our support.

I want to see all of Anfield rocking on Matchdays, i want to see the Old farts in the main stand leave their tartan blankets and hip flasks at home, and shout and sing, why should it be just a corner of the Kop and pockets in the Anfield Road singing.

The King is back and he needs our help as well. Let's turn Anfield into a fortress again, lets make opposition players shit themselves, make them think their not just playing against the team, but the fans as well. If we can help the lads at home, the confidence could well transfer away from home as well.

Lets make Anfield quake again........
