One dog goes one way, the other dog goes the other way, and this guy's sayin', "Whadda ya want from me?' Guy's got a nice head of white hair, it's beautiful.

For me the best line in that scene is the mother saying, "One dog looks east the other looks west. So what?"

I always think she's going to say something profound about the symbolism involved.

Good Article in FHM on Goodfellas this month as it is 20 years old. Interviews with Scorsese, De Niro, Liotta & Pesci as well as Henry Hill. He hired De Niro after he gave De Niro the script to look at and see who he thought would be good playing parts. De Niro said he fancied playing the older character in the film and so was cast. Scorsese said Joe Pesci was always in his mind when casting Tommy, but Liotta was a relative unknown so he had to convince the makers that he was the right man.

(Little known fact: 43 bowls of pasta are eaten in the Film and there are only 9 murders!)

Robert De Niro and Al Pacino to collaborate on new movie

According to reports, American legendary Hollywood actors Joe Pesci, Robert De Niro, and Al Pacino will collaborate together in “The Irishman”, an upcoming violent gangster movie.

To be directed by Martin Scorsese, this flick will surely receive a warm welcome by various mob movie fans. Scorsese and De Niro, both 67, have been working together for some time already on the movie.

“The Irishman” is based on the real-life gang hit-man Frank Sheeran’s exploits, as chronicled in the “I Heard You Paint Houses” book.

De Niro and 70-year-old Pacino also starred in a cop drama “Righteous Kill” and gangster flick “Heat”. Moreover, De Niro and 67-year-old Pesci had already worked together with Scorsese on classics “Raging Bull,” “Goodfellas,” and “Casino”.

A Hollywood insider said that if they all team up, the movie will result in a rather exciting gangster ensemble.
