It works a bit like the tote from what I gather. With all the money awash in the game at the moment, why cant Premier League clubs invest in Black Armbands. Nothing annoys me more than seeing premier league clubs stating that the club will be wearing black armbands and holding a minutes applause/silence and then coming out with black tape wrapped around their arm, that is NOT a Black Armband and is not a proper or fitting tribute. I am getting sick of this government throwing VAT on stuff that turns over so little its fuckin irrelevant to put VAT on it. The problem is they think a pastie going from £1 to £1.20 wont bother people but that 20p can be the difference between a pastie or sausage roll. Same with the football going from £5 to £6 a game could deter whether you play once or twice a week. I think the point I am making is that 15 million quids worth of VAT isn't going to make any difference if it hasn't incurred VAT in the past what difference does it make now why don't you fuckin invest in closing all the loopholes that allow people to defraud the VAT and avoid paying TAX that cost the country billions instead of sitting there fucking pleased with yourselves that you might be able to screw another 15 mill out of the peasants fucking cunts.!!!

I dont understand how you can judge him by his transfers! Surely the time to judge him is how the players perform on the field! The players buying into his philosophy how much confidence he instills in the players. The biggest problem last season was Downing and Henderson for example had no aura about them. They always looked terrified of actually being on the pitch yet they had been bought for big money so should have an attitude of I am here I am ready this is my stage, yet you have someone like Kuyt for example who wasn't as blessed as a footballer but at no stage looked like he didn't think he was good enough or believed in his ability no matter how poor a game he was having maybe its the dutch in him but for me I think that a player especially a new signing having an aura and a confidence about him comes from the manager telling him he's the bollox, telling him exactly what he expects of him.

You dont know that 9000 apartments wont be filled by the time the project is complete. Peel Holdings as someone said earlier have long term visions they are not going to blow 5.5bn on a project if they dont think 9000 apartments, offices and hotels etc cant be completed. The first thing they did in Salford Quays was get the BBC into the area as they new other companies would follow. I assume they have similar aspirations for Liverpool to attract major corporations from down south who are cost cutting to re-locate to a more affordable location that is both modern and historic. I dont know the full ins an outs as a sure a lot of us dont but Peel Holdings seem to have a long term vision for the North West.
