Had a look at the remaining games right now. We can't afford to drop a single point, but I think that is positive because we almost always seem to perform under pressure. Villa is out of it in my opinion, but going past City and Spurs won't be easy, especially the latter one.

Aye. Its going to take a monumental effort although I think Spurs will lose more than 4 points - they have to play Chelsea, Arsenal, Scum and City.

But I think we will also lose some. Can't see us winning all 6.

City have burnley next so they are likely to win that one too. We both have to play Birmingham but I think it'll be a tougher game for us since we cannot afford to lose.

I wouldnt put money on us finishing 4th to be honest.

Havn't won one in fuckin ages either

I had that. £100 to win £450.

What were the odds with Kaiserslautern?

It's not beyond the realms of possibilities that we can finish fourth by three or four points!

I'd much rather win the Europa and finish fifth than, fourth and nothing. Actually I would much rather win the Europa and finish fourth!, but I can see what Betterthanaverageman is saying, we should not be fighting out for fourth place and in that sense we don't deserve it, simply cos we only want the money.

Me too. I think we're possibly in a minority though.

I'm also in your minority, a trophy should always be more important than 4th. It's just that the way football is, it's perceived that being in the Champions League is regarded as being more important than winning a League Cup, FA Cup or Europa League.

Sad testament of how football has changed.

They play Stoke tomorrow. It's entirely winnable because as tough as Stoke are to play against, Wolves will be relatively well equipped. A draw I reckon. Personally I think one more win will be enough for Bolton and Wolves. Depends how results go though - Bolton away to Chelsea on Tuesday, Wigan at home to Portsmouth.
