HomePlug Broadband Access Points

Morning,

I've just got myself a couple of these things. They basically turn the existing wiring in your house into an ethernet network. You can have an access point in the parts of your house that wireless doesn't reach.

I must say I've been very impressed. A piece of piss to install (you literally just plug the things in), and I now have broadband in my lounge at last so after 2 years I've updated my PS3 software and have been watching iplayer on my telly.

Spot on. Try it if you need it.

Home Plug at Amazon but use the TLW link instead!

The one thing I don't like about those homeplug thingies is they give shitloads of interference all over the HF ( <30Mhz) radio band, which fucks up my shortwave radio gear something rotten. You try decoding a WEFAX broadcast with one of those fuckers radiating all over the band. You can barely make out the isobars!
