Taking this story from a slightly different perspective, why are tabloid sub editors so utterly fucking obsessed with the words set and handed in sport headlines? What the fuck is wrong with will and given? I don't read an awful lot of tabloid stuff, but it's clear that the actual journalists often do a decent job; it's the fucking subs that throw the shitty/lowest common denominator angle on things with their lame work in the headlines.

I was only saying to a mate yesterday that I'd love to see Sami stay on and move into defensive coaching. His awareness, game-sense, and positional play is fantastic and if he's able to pass that on on the training pitch then he could be a priceless addition. Great great news if true.

Exactly. Let's go back to basics and get some continuity; he knows how the current setup works, how the current players play, he'll be able t induct the new guys. And he's got the Anfield spirit installed in him.

 

As for being sexier than Torres, that's a brave claim, but he does have a lovely rugged jaw. I've always wanted a rugged jaw.
