The Sir, you're getting repped for this thread. After I posted I thought I'd check out deviant art for some inspiration for my writing, and I've been addicted to the place over the last 48 hours or so. Some of the stuff on there is incredible, and I'm about to start drawing again as I'm too inspired to just look at some of the work on there and not try anything myself.

I'm here on deviant art, check out the stuff I've found if you want from the favourites : Novabird on deviantART

I now know that I don't actually have a fave artist, as there's just too many to choose from.

Might crash my photobucket this but fuck it, if it does will have to use a proper web host. Valencian Goddess and Genius Victoria Frances, my current favourite artist (this is her in most of these drawings, photo manipulations, and the photos at the end.) :

The Fauvists, Neo Expressionists, Situationalists and Pre-Raphaelists have created nothing of worth.

There is nothing in their creative canons which connects with my life and understanding of the world.

The human condition, fragility of life, ephemerality and ultimately the futility of existence.

No.

For me, Athena is the true artist of the people.

He somehow shone a bright light onto the world to illuminate our pathway, and always, but always avoided cliche.

I love these 'minimal' film posters and quite fancied a couple for the office, even though we're packed full of prints and photos already.

I found the link through another site and unfortunately it seems they no longer sell all the ones from the original link. Which is a shame as these ones are particularly ace:
