Pataks now do a Hot and Spicy Tikka Masala sauce in a jar and it's a winner. TM isn't normally my favourite curry, but this one has an extra kick and makes a nice Satdee neet feast.

Every curry I've ever had in Liverpool has been fucking dog shit. Literally every single one. Ever.

It's exactly as you say - over coloured, sloppy, greasy and usually with that disgusting multi-coloured rice that stinks of cardomon pods.

If you want a decent curry, get out of Liverpool for it. I think it's because Liverpool just doesn't really have a sizeable Asian commuity. The last curry house in Liverpool I went to was run by some greek fella! What's tyhat about? The Greek are just about the shittest cooks on earth at the best of times, when they're cooking their "own" food!

The last thing the Greeks should be doing is branching out!

 

Chinese however, oh yeah. Liverpool knows how to do a good Chinese! You just can't get a decent Chinese in Leeds. It's almost all completely awful.
