Remember that one? Oh, man, I was 13. Neveer been such a wreck. Kept pacing the house, out in the tiny garden (lived in Holland at the time- Kijkduin). Kept looking in, Dad- score. He'd just nod, shake his head. I kept thinking Madrid would get one, they;d hold us off. Came in, sat down and Kenendy scored. I didn't jump, just looked at the clock, (back then there was no score/timer in corner of telly) and calculated, and prayed, and then the whislte went, and it was our 3rd, and fuck Nottingham Forest.

 

Wish my Dad was here to nod, or smile.
