We are an absolute embarrassment selling our best CDM with no fucking plan and then dicking about for WEEKS not doing shit to replace him. Then in turn we spent WEEKS faffing around Lavia for a few million while in the end doing a hail Mary bid to get Caicedo, of course he said no and then we lost Lavia because of it!!

 

Fucking fuming.

You know what's the best part is that he had absolutely zero reason to want to come here after all that happened. We low balled his club for a month, then ditched him for Caicedo. You could not blame him for a second for wanting to go to Chelsea, even if all things were equal.

Some perspective though, we've missed out on Lavia, who went for more than we thought he was worth (and who City didn't think he was good enough for them) and on Caicedo, who before Thursday all was thought for months would end up at Chelsea anyway.

 

We (would) still need a proper DM.
