Mate, you like British Sea Power, the members of which look like their mothers dress them, blind folded, in the dark.

My mate has been dressed as a bear on stage with British Sea Power twice. Fell off stage both times, broke his leg once.

Hmmm... I recommend you go listen to Pile Driver, Hello!, On the Level,Blue or You,  Quo and Live (at the Glasgow Apollo). Absolutely nothing Pop about those albums at all.  It's bit like saying Queen were a pop band because of their 80's output.

As for Quo being Teetotal?? WTF?!?!?!?!?

If you don't like them as a band, fair do's. No one likes exactly the same thing as someone else, world would be boring but maybe do a little research before you call them a pop band.

I'm not going to listen to albums of a band I don't like but most of Quo's hits were pop songs whether you agree or not. They were rock for people who didn't like it too loud or heavy. I'm not into heavy stuff at all apart from a song or two but Status Quo were just not that genre no matter how hard they tried.
