Lad batting at No3 for Gloucestershire is a scouser called Ian Cockbain. Played for the local team I watch Bootle. Seen him from about the age of 13/14. He made a great score in this comp a few weeks ago. He's got one of the best fielding arms I've ever seen.

Think you’ve mentioned him before mate, he and Klinger can be devastating.

His dad ( also Ian ) played for Bootle for donkey's years and for Lancs for a bit in the early eighties. I am sure he was still playing in the Liverpool Competition a year or two back & he must be late fifties by now.

Yeah, he retired for a couple of years an then came back to captain Formby. He's still involved at Formby but in a none playing role.

Very impressed with Jennings' imitation of Theresa May's Saffer dancing from the other day after he was LB'd.

34/3 , need to get to lunch with no further wickets.

Jinx

England have gone full 90s this series. We must have simply the worst top order in world cricket. I’d trade it for Bangladesh’s now. Hate the sight of every single one of the docile fucks. Absolute lemmings.
