Yes the timing is pretty good actually. I see where you’re coming from but I’d be tempted to give the whole squad ten days with their feet up getting massaged, and resting or whatever.

His salary should be irrelevant when he's playing so poorly although you're correct, it will unfortunately play a part.

Jota looks a totally different player to the one who was banging in goals last season. Its hard to tell when he will be close to that form again.
