Fancy Dress is fucking brilliant. We had one at work on Friday and the theme was US College films. I went as a nerd and the ladies loved it. If I was single I would have been in like Flynn, as a lot of people didn't bother so I got all the attention.

 

My recommendation for 70s and 80s is to go blaxploitation pimp. I did it at university and it was the best one ever. Brown sheepskin with big collar, brown flares and brown shoes and a cane. Big sunglasses. Beautiful.

I went to one last week. Went as Slash. Bought some fake tattoo sleeves on ebay for a couple of quid and got the hat and wig cheap. Pair of aviators, bottle of Jack Daniels..black tee shirt/jeans...and some chains and rings and BOOM...sorted.

 

Left the aviators on all night and perved at all the ladies in their 80's clobber. 'twas a good night.
