You may scoff, Russ, but I'd love to go back in for Forster, Mane, and Schneiderlin. In fact, it's ridiculous that Southampton have been mid-table the last couple of years. They've probably been one top striker shy of challenging properly for the CL.

 

Pelle, Lambert, Long, Osvaldo, it's been a series of poor signings up front that's hindered them.

 

Juanmi signed this Summer, looks lightweight to me.

 

Jay Rodriguez should have worked out, didn't, injured, shame.

 

You'd think that in a world where Southampton can only get Juanmi in as a striker, that we could come to a deal with them over Clyne and give them Lambert and Borini as well. Borini is better than any of those strikers I've listed.
