  1. Following Milton Keynes Dons' appointment of Karl Robinson as manager in 2010, the club created a recruitment division and named Mitchell as the club's first Head of Recruitment.[17] He was notably responsible for the signing of former England international Alan Smith.[18] In January 2012, Mitchell joined Championship club Southampton as Head of Recruitment.[19] The club gained promotion to the Premier League in his first season and Mitchell began working with Mauricio Pochettino following his appointment in January 2013. He oversaw the signings of players including Nathaniel Clyne, Maya Yoshida, Paulo Gazzaniga and Steven Davis.[20][21][22][23] Following Pochettino's move to Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur, Mitchell completed his switch in November 2014 to link up with the manager.[24] He helped the club sign players such as Dele Alli, Son Heung-min, Kieran Trippier and Toby Alderweireld.[25][26][27] In August 2016, reports suggested Mitchell was to leave the club "after his dream job turned into a nightmare" and he had fallen out with chairman Daniel Levy.[28] In December, it was revealed Mitchell was serving his 16-month notice period.[29] In February 2018, Mitchell was named Head of Recruitment and Development by Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.[30] In his first transfer window with the club, Mitchell helped sign Matheus Cunha and Nordi Mukiele, as well as Arsenal youth prospect Emile Smith Rowe on loan. Mitchell attracted interest from several Premier League clubs throughout 2019 and was heavily linked to a move to Manchester United.[31][32] Reports suggested he could be offered an expanded role as Technical Director to oversee Red Bull's global football – including FC Liefering, Red Bull Salzburg and the New York Red Bulls[33] In June 2020, Mitchell joined Monaco as sporting director.[34][35]
  2. How are you from? Where are you doing? Why is your name? What are you going?
  3. Now Football Insider are reporting that Caicedo has ‘told friends that he would jump at the chance to join Liverpool’. Brighton ‘have no plans’ to sell him this month but it is stated that he is ‘valued around the £45m mark’. Caicedo’s long-term future is ‘in doubt’ as he is set to change his agent in preparation of a ‘big-money transfer’. He has ‘let it be known to people close to him’ that he is ‘definitely interested’ in joining Liverpool. Caicedo is understood to be one player Chelsea have ‘interest’ in either this month or in the summer. A move for Caicedo may be higher up on the agenda now that talks with Benfica about signing Enzo Fernandez have broken down. Benfica boss Roger Schmidt has hit out at Chelsea over their “disrepectful” pursuit of Fernandez. “They tried to get the player on their side and they know they only can get this player when they pay the clause. So it’s a very clear situation…” Schmidt said. “What the club is doing who wants to buy Enzo is disrespectful against all of us, against Benfica and I cannot accept what they are doing. So to make the player crazy and then to pretend they can pay the clause and later they want to negotiate.”
  4. We’ve got less than two years to fix our economy, deliver the promise of our 2019 manifesto and win the next general election. That work starts today. And I need you on board, TLW. So will you help deliver for Britain by chipping in? Help us deliver Never forget why we’re here in the first place. The government's job is to get things done for the British public — and we’re here because Labour can’t. Jeremy Corbyn might be gone, but Labour is still led by the man who tried to make Corbyn Prime Minister. And nothing has changed. Keir Starmer wants to create a nationalised energy company — just like Jeremy Corbyn. Keir Starmer wants to abolish all the anti-strike laws — just like Jeremy Corbyn. Keir Starmer wants to raise taxes and increase spending — just like Jeremy Corbyn. We can’t let Jeremy Corbyn’s followers make it to Downing Street. That’s why I need your help to deliver for Britain. So, if you want to get the country back on track, then please chip in today. Get Britain back on track Together, we can fix our economy and deliver the promise of the 2019 manifesto. Recruiting the police officers who’ll make our streets safer. Hiring the doctors and nurses who’ll clear the Covid backlog. Delivering the investment to towns and cities across the UK. It comes down to us, TLW. So let's get to work. Yours sincerely, Rishi Sunak Prime Minister

  14. When antagonist Clarence Boddicker (Kurtwood Smith) is taken to the police precinct after receiving a solid whooping by RoboCop (Peter Weller), Boddicker spits a bloody glob onto the paperwork of the desk sergeant, followed by the line "Give me my f*ckin' phone call!"Smith and Verhoeven briefly had discussed the unscripted moment before filming the scene but neglected to inform the extras - which was evident by their real and disgusted surprise as the scene unfolded.

  16. Raheem Sterling has revealed he dreams of having the Kop make up a song for him as questions continue about his long-term Liverpool future. The England winger recently revealed he would not be talking about a new deal at Anfield until the end of the current season, drawing criticism from fans. But, in a 'Day In The Life' feature in theSunday Times Magazine, Sterling admitted he loves having a crowd get firmly behind him as well as his desire for fans in the famous Kop to make up a chant for him. "Of course, when the crowd is with you, there is nothing better," said Sterling, who has two years left on his current deal. "My ambition is to have my own song from the Kop. "Last season I loved the song for Luis Suarez - Steven Gerrard and Philippe Coutinho have good ones too." The 20-year-old also explained how much in awe of Gerrard, who leaves for the MLS at the end of the season, he was when he joined Liverpool as a teenager. "I was 15 when I signed to Liverpool's youth team, and I have to admit I was starstruck," he said. "The first time I saw Stevie I thought he was a fake! I couldn't believe he was real and not a waxwork. "My debut came when I was 17, against Wigan. I was first out on the pitch and I couldn't wait to get on the ball. "I did four stepovers and a half-cross, half-shot, and every time I got on the ball I ran at the defenders. It was a good day for me."
