Isn't that a good thing as you can offset the losses against tax?

Not a tax expert by any stretch but think you don't pay corporation tax if you make an annual loss (overall) but you can offset any loss on individual

disposals of assets against tax.

Easy, eh?

What I meant was that if all these numbers are true (£60k a week salary, £2m to fuck off), it would appear to be cheaper to get rid of him than keep him.

May be we should do the same with Poulsen, Konchesky, Degen, Cole, N'Gog, Insua, Greek etc.

Might as well get rid of them with our summer transfer budget.

To bring our outrageous wage bill under control we might have to.

It might be cheaper but it sets up a dangerous benchmark for the other bunch of shite. N'Gog will be demanding £3m next.

If its any other club we are talking about, it might be funny!

City will pay more fee - Arsenal looking for £10m - and also more wages....

City also want Nasri from Arsenal after they missed out on Sanchez. Arsenal sre becoming City's feeder club now.

It would free our path to sign Mata but then again it would free up Arsenal's too.

Very dangerous which is why I think we are stuck with them for a while and it may be as long as 2 more seasons before we see the back of them. I think loaning them out is the only option until the pay off becomes viable. Degen and El-Zhar can be paid off this year and it "should" be a small amount relative to what the likes of Cole, Jovanovic and Aquilani would cost to pay off now. We set the agenda and the players know how its going to be - no squad number and no training with the first team if they don't agree to go on loan etc.

Oh wow, how emo are some people in this thread. Have some perspective people. We have "missed out" on players that we might not even have been in for in the first place and now because of that people are talking like their lives are over. Jesus wept, this place gets worse every day.

Do yourselves a favour, calm the fuck down, take a deep breath and put down the knives and pitchforks before you put someone's eye out with the things. Spoiled brats.

Right, first things first. Perhaps we DO have some takers for them, but it's all being done quietly.

Perhaps we will sell all our deadwood in the next couple of weeks.

Fucking chill out.

But, if we don't, then I don't see how we can punish them for being shit.

I'd love for us to take a piss-take tribunal to the High Court to get damages out of Hodgson, the cunt.

If they refuse to budge, despite offers, then unleash hell. Banned from Anfield and Melwood, all club privaleges stripped (prolly free Sky, free gym membership, free restaurant bits etc), we can even change their job description if we want, we own them.

What's more, when you see them out and about, chin them.

A guy called Lecter on another forum claims to have been in touch with ppl linked to Wickham. Pushing a story of us being very indecisive in negotiations with Wickham and also now Clichy. Same old thing costing us in the market apparently. We aren't even getting as far as making bids

They haven't sold anyone to City that they didn't want to sell.

thats what Arsenal fans say everytime they sell someone to a more ambitious club Adebayor,Toure,Henry,Hleb,Vieira, Cole guess they'll have wanted to sell Fabregas and Nasri in a couple of weeks too

Are you sure this Lecter character is trustworthy?

Adebayor they couldn't wait to get shot of.

Vieira was sold exactly when Wenger wanted him sold.

Ditto Henry.

Toure they weren't arsed by either and got offered a laughable fee for him.

Hleb and Cole probably did go against Wenger's wishes, and certainly that will be the case when/ if Fabregas and Nasri go, but they haven't sold anyone to Man Shitty they really wanted to keep.
