Very dangerous which is why I think we are stuck with them for a while and it may be as long as 2 more seasons before we see the back of them. I think loaning them out is the only option until the pay off becomes viable. Degen and El-Zhar can be paid off this year and it "should" be a small amount relative to what the likes of Cole, Jovanovic and Aquilani would cost to pay off now. We set the agenda and the players know how its going to be - no squad number and no training with the first team if they don't agree to go on loan etc.

They have contracts as professional footballers. Banning them from the gym etc would most likely be seen as constructive dismissal and leave the club liable to pay up the value of the contract plus any compensation a tribunal would see fit.
