True but maybe its another reason all together. Having someone come on around the 60th mark will have more of an impact on the game than somone you will come on around the 50th minute. Cluthcing at straws here but a double sub at 60 can change the whole look on that team e.g Patches and Maxi.

He might not be at his best but I feel that much better knowing that he is in there doing the best he can, which is a hell of a lot more than I can say for some of our other players.

He shouldn't be starting every game and if you feel safer having him on you clearly haven't been watching our games. I agree that he is not at his best, but the Agger - Skretl axis is still stuck in theory land and The Greek is nowhere near as experienced as I would like him to be.

 

To say that he has a dip in form is fine, to say that he is not a starte anymore because of it is a tad overkill.
