Well done boys. Shame about Poloskei as he was playing so well. Mavinga is a superb find.

If the injury problems in the first team get any worse, I would have no problem if this lad was promoted into the first team squad. Strong, good pace and reads the game well.

Just watched the second and that Poloskei boy looked like a player. Hopefully it`s not to bad, but he looked distraught when he went down. Hopefully this will not turn out like another case like that Duran, who also looked very good, but always picking up serious injuries.

A couple of things Poloskei done in that second half reminded me a bit of Gerrard when he first came onto the scene.

Just the way he receives the ball, turns, gives it and then makes a little darting run forward looking for the return. Very impressed with Zsolt tonight.

Hope the injury isn't serious, but I have a bad feeling for the lad. As people have mentioned, the look on his face was as if he knew straight away what the problem was, and potentially how serious.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Another classy looking player who can't stay fit.

It looked like a bad one, he jarred the knee, and for someone coming back from a cruciate injury that can't be good. Thought he was excellent, especially in the second. Agree about the young Gerrard comments, he looked like a very powerful runner and was excellent on the ball.

I think Saric is still recovering his fitness and touch, in his games so far he's shown some flashes of genius while failing to really impose himself on the game. Looks like he has great potential.

Mavinga looks a player too.

In the last 15-20 minutes or so before he was subbed, he was starting to get his foot on the ball more, he has a couple of tricks up his sleeve and looks decent, he does need this run of games to really get going, as you have mentioned, it's flashes at the moment, though I'm sure there is more to come from the lad.

Poloskei looks fucking brilliant, that's the second time i've seen him now and he looks quality. It wasn't a knee injury that he was out with last season was it?

Yes, a cruciate injury as Maldini has since mentioned. I think it may have been the same knee as well. Fingers crossed for the lad.
