Apparently Berbatov is injured and will be missing for the game against Villa. Also Rooney is suspended and Tevez has still yet to get back to training since the Argentina game (and will no doubt be knackered).

 

Not to mention they're already missing Vidic and Scholes through suspension.. i'd be more than happy with a 0-0 draw on Sunday.

 

First things first, we need to claim our three points tomorrow.

Lets just get out there and do what we have to. I dont even think about them until I know we have fulfilled our obligations, and i dont know why anyone else does.

 

Erm, because they're in poll position right now, we need them to drop points even if we fulfil "our obligations". Anything that weakens them or puts them at a disadvantage is a bonus for us.

 

Fucks sake. If I was to mention Birmingham's injuries then fair enough... but this is the mancs.

Ferdinand out , Rooney out , Vidic Out , scholes out - couldnt of asked for better than that could we ?!

 

Id be surprised if Villa beat them but a draw is deffo possible me thinks . . .

Lets just beat Fulham first tho and we'll see ........

On the whole I agree - he does swan around for most of the 90. He has scored some important goals for them though (Bolton away springs to mind) so I'm pleased with this news.

 

Agreed on beating Fulham before anything else though.

I fully expect the Mancs to nick a spawny win against Villa in the 90th minute. Anything less would be a huge bonus. It's their games against Arsenal and Man City that I have hopes of. I just hope our lads aren't thinking about the Mancs game at all. We have to just go into each game and make sure we win it now, oblivious to what anyone else does.
