Yeah, lived in Garden Lodge for 17ish years and used to live in Vetch hey when I was growing up by the bluey.

 

Hope the new development breathes some life into the area, but after someone burnt down the valley theatre which used to be in the same place not so long ago I don't hold much hope!

Yeah, that's the downside isn't it? Depriving their own, and wrecking things intended to improve the area - like you, I just don't get it mate.

i had a mate late 70s /early 80s who lived in middlemas hey flats.you went in the front door from the main landing and down two small flights of stairs to get to the living room .weird.
