Did any 1 else see the report on sly sports news saying that Rick Parry has said the ammount of monies available to strenghthen the squad will be dependent upon if we qualify for the CL or not.

 

No doubt this will lead to the press second guessing the future of GH and speculating that this may be the first signs of his demise.

 

Whatever your thoughts on GH are I think we all accept he will be in charge for atleast 1 more season, so surely he should have the buying power to get 2 world class players to Anfield and not settle for 2nd choice when it comes to the players we so desprately need.

If the Board restrict tranfer funds for next season and we fail to get into the champions league next year then houllier will have a ready made excuse. They must either back the manager on the assumption that we will achieve champions league football next year or they have to sack houllier.

You have to worry hopw he will spend any money given to him.

 

He has got to buy big rather than 3 or 4 average misifits. How about a player that will actually improve/ change the team.
